      hahaha Thanks, Marie! I don't know about that but it was certainly a fun swim. It's taking some time to finish but I am still working on the blog about the day. I will post once it's done!

    Felt good but felt that the pace was much faster with the effort I was putting out. I guess not. Still pleased with the overall race.

    Strong headwinds from the north. Very manageable. South bound ride was fast! Woohoo!!

    Choppy waters but still very manageable. After about 50 yards, I found an empty lane. Smooth sailing after that. Used the trick Coach Craig taught us for the turnaround. Worked like a charm.

      thats sad about your Garmin!!! but great job!!! I actually was thinking of Coach Craig's trick at the turnaround and was going to do it, but there was way too many people around me.

      Man, getting away from the other swimmer's sometimes is tougher than the distance itself. Way to be smart. Although you may not have hit your personal best, you still had a great time bro. Well done!!! Was the water cold? Did you use a wetsuit?
