My foot has been a little weird all summer long, and even though I've been enjoying my long runs, I figure I might as well take advantage of zero races on the calendar and go easy for a while. I thought about taking Henny to state park for a hike, but I didn't want to get in the car, so we 'ran' errands instead.

Walked up to Ace Hardware and then to the bakery across the street (for an afternoon donut). Henny was allowed in both places, so long as I carried her. We stopped by the lake on the way back and sat while I had the donut + coffee (this is sounding less and less like a workout...), and Henny had a couple tiny pieces, too. This was a pretty long walk for her, but she was cruising on the return trip and seemed to have a great time!
