That's what I said out loud to the cats when I got back. I wound up taking three whole weeks off from running, which was long enough to start feeling like I was never a runner in the first place. I headed out a while after dinner, telling myself I could just do two miles as slowly as I wanted, and it wound up being three. I didn't wear my Garmin (in order to spare my pride), but I didn't actually feel too sluggish.
My lungs DID burn, though, but I've heard other people complaining about the terrible allergy-ness in the air today. I actually thought I was getting a cold most of today, so maybe it was all allergies and not to be blamed on my hiatus.


I wouldn't call myself a non-runner if I could run 3 miles - nice workout
