      OMSI the Oregon Museum of Science & Industry. A big geeky place to take kids to play and learn science. Love it.

    hills, hills I love hills, except when I have to walk them, then they suck. this route will pay off soon I know this hilly route will help make me stronger later. Have a great day everyone.

      Running with a stroller is kind of like hill work. Added resistance. You may not run fast but you'll be building strength to run faster later.

      We actually have a historic fort in town named "fort vancouver" that is an archaeological site. There's a path around it that makes a good loop. That's what she means.

      Great run....after Hagg let's hook up for some long runs. I am not sure I can go as fast as you but I would love to chat if you will slow down for me ;) We also need to go out soon or have you guys over. I am off next weekend!

    Nothing like giggling to slow your pace down. Ran 6 on salmon creek trail while my 3 year old sang queen and jewel songs. It was awesome!

    My friend pulled his hammy so we had to run slow he started to warm up after mile two but we didn't want to push the pace and hurt his leg more.

      If it over a couple years old, it's probably just time to use use their "Rebuild" program. 75-85 and they'll mail you a factory refurbished "like new".
      I had major trouble with them last winter regards the water-proofing, but know other's who've had their rebuild for a couple years no problems.
      Depends how OCD you are about your workouts - personally I couldn't even bear going out the door w/o it.

      @Sol I am training for Vancouver BC Marathon in May.I want to hit a certain pace for BC. Then I'm running Newport marathon in June and Vancouver USA Marathon 2 weeks after Newport. Might throw in Flat Traffic Marathon in July

    He rode his bike while I ran. I think he might be able to ride his bike while I run shorter runs. He was able to hold 9 min pace so that's good. Now it he could just hold that for 19 more miles it ... read more
