    Jog to the car. It was necessary, walking hurt more than jogging.

    The rain helped, kept me cool and numbed my joints all the way to the finish line. :) I have never felt this great after a marathon. I may even want to do another one!?

      Congratulations on finishing this swimathon! What were the temps like? I am curious how the weather conditions compare to our rainy winter here in the Pacific Northwest.

    Awesome run, partly in heavy down pour. Sunset beach to Newport Beach. Sips of h2o every 2 miles and food snacks every 8 miles. Had a GU at mile 12.

    My arms felt a little fatigued right from the start, but I finished my sets. I took it easy on my abs because my back is still a little stiff.
