Wow, what a day! Glad you got in all those miles, and that the bonk waited until almost the very end to pounce! You could probably walk to the end of the block tomorrow and get 60 miles for the week! ;-)

Kate - that was on my radar, but I have to help my in-laws move on Sunday morning. If I want to sleep in the house, I'd better be around. ;)

Felt clumsy this morning. Long run of 21 trail miles tomorrow.

  11. RUN
    1:2 10 mi 01:19 07:53 pace

Super tough today in the insane cold wind and with dead quads. 20 easy, 10 cycles of 1' 5k effort and 2' easy, remainder easy. Endurance is good but I have no speed.

Awesome! This is great training - not only for the nutrition stuff but also to do this mileage on legs that are worked over from some great miles in the past several days. Hope you got to refuel later in the day.

I hope that mental barrier has been shattered now! What a fantastic run! I love to see those big miles paying off on runs like this. I don't know what's "up your sleeve" but I hope there are some road races along the way to show off that fitness.
