    Got up early to beat the beat, but failed. 75 when I started at 7:30 am and about 80 when I got back. Felt like I was melting on a short 4 miler.

      Another critter tale, eh? I came within 10 feet or so of what I think was an opossum on the trail tonight. Good times.

    Had to work off the way too big slice of DQ ice cream cake from last night. Also stuck to the paved roads instead of trails, hence the faster pace.

    I took it really slow today due to the heat (80 by the time I got home). I felt pretty good, especially in the shade of the IAT.

      Sounds like I should change my routine - ditch the early runs and start the day with a run. I'm like a zombie in the morning. Good miles.

      Yeah it took me a long time to get used to the super early, before work runs, but after a while I settled into a groove with them.

    Half road, half trail run on the Ice Age Trail Cedar Lakes segment. Felt a little sluggish today and the trail portion was fairly hilly.

    Decided to stay inside today and run the treadmill as 43 degrees and a steady rain was not gonna happen. I passed the time watching one of the all time greatest movies, Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
