  1. RUN
    great 5 mi 00:53 10:34 pace

Good run! Got out before it was too hot!

  2. RUN
    alright 2 mi 00:21 10:30 pace

2 miles slow. New training plan to run a sub-60 10k. My first attempt since lsst year's Great Race. Glad it was short, I'm still hurting from being sick.

  3. RUN
    blah 2.65 mi 00:28 10:29 pace

That was rough. Still hoarse from a sinus infection that keeps dragging on. My chest hurt.

  4. I haven't run since Monday. I fell on Wednesday and I busted my knee open. Hoping to run today after work and have it not break open again.

I feel okay, but I've got some bruises and scabs. I'm gonna see how it goes. I'll walk if I have to.

  6. RUN
    good 3.5 mi 00:37 10:34 pace

Rough. Hot and my breakfast is sitting like a rock in my belly.

  7. RUN
    good 2.5 mi 00:26 10:24 pace

    Hot today!

  8. RUN
    great 2.8 mi 00:27 09:38 pace

Ran some fartlek. Walked for breath in between. Felt like a hard workout.

  9. RUN
    great 5.1 mi 00:53 10:23 pace

Mother's Day run all by myself (just like I needed!) Awesome run: hilly as hell and no walking. Home to Arlington Ave to Allentown and down to Carson St Starbucks.

  10. RUN
    good 2.8 mi 00:30 10:42 pace

Hot one. Walked some. But still 2.8 in 30.

  11. RUN
    good 2.8 mi 00:30 10:42 pace

Shaking off a sore knee after Sunday's half-marathon. Felt fine, but running with a knee brace sucks.

  12. RUN
great Pittsburgh Half Marathon 13.66 mi 02:31 11:05 pace

GPS says 13.66! I ran a half mile further than I needed. Dang wide turns. Awesome run though, I loved every minute and PR'ed by about 17 minutes!

Good job, Amy. The course is USATF Certified so its exactly 13.1 miles. All GPS watches will post longer distances mine was at 13.22.

Hi Brian. From what I understand of USATF, the USATF measurements measure on the tangent, so running too many outside and long round corners accounts for added distance. USATF cert also states that the distance is "at least" as long as advertised.

  13. RUN
    good 2.8 mi 00:28 10:00 pace

Hot out there! Good enough for my usual "commuter."

  14. RUN
    good 3 mi 00:30 10:00 pace

Three in about 30. My usual run. 6 days from the half-marathon. 0% confident but 100% excited.

  15. RUN
    alright 4 mi 00:43 10:45 pace

Well, I have a 2nd degree burn on the roof of my mouth that hurts every time I breathe, and I got hit (gently) by a car. In spite of that: I made great time!

  16. RUN
    2.7 mi 00:30 11:06 pace

Good run. 2 9-minute miles and one long slow one. Needed the pavement pounding after the day I had.

  17. RUN
    great 5.1 mi 00:54 10:35 pace

Final 5.1 in my 26.2 #runforboston. And it was great!

  18. RUN
    great 5.1 mi 00:55 10:47 pace

#runforboston 5.1 more to complete my 26.2 for Boston

It encourages you to take as long as you need but to run 26.2 for Boston. I love the idea.

  20. RUN
great Work to Home 7.85 mi 01:39 12:37 pace

Awesome miles 1 through 4. Then I climbed from Carson up to Mt Oliver (mostly up the city steps) so mile 4 to about 5.5 was brutal. 2.5 more through the Mt O and Carrick to home. Tough but I made i... read more
