I really needed to run today, but after Eli's and my big fat grocery shopping trip, there was just no way I was going to take him out. So I went to the Y and hit the dreadmill while he played with his little toddler friends. Somewhere around 5.5 miles, though, my mill and the guy's next to me just shut down. Bad circuit or something. So I had to switch to another mill. And I didn't actually look at my time/distance right before it crapped out, so the 8 mile is an estimate, give or take, as is the exact time. Probably shouldn't do any more longish runs with negative splits or intervals, but whaterv.

On the mill, I escalated pace every 5 minutes:
6.0, 6.3, 6.5, 6.7, 7.0, 7.3. 7.5, 7.5, 7.4, 7.3, 7.2, 7.1, 7.0

Because those numbers mean something to you. ;)
