      I think it was easier bc I ran a quick 2 miles at a 10 min pace and then met with sis in law and we were pretty lax doing 12-13 min mile for 3 miles and walking a bit (she hadnt run in wks and there was a lot of ice to dodge) then I found a track around a hospital on the run back to our cars and finished my miles there. MUCH easier bc I could ditch my hydration belt and jacket and gloves. BTW got an ifitness water belt and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! it doesnt move AT ALL and it holds my phone and all my gu

      I am in NO WAY a rock star. This was way outta my element and I honestly have no desire to do this sort of run again. I was so concerned with my footing that I couldnt get lost in that runners trance and high.....not my forte....

      Merry Christmas to you and I swear I feel like a total slacker! WHile Im not having as many issues physically this yr, I just cant seem to get into it mentally for whatever reason. Just too much with holidays and friends with deaths in the family and its taking a toll on me. I hope I can zone in this wk when i have a 10 miler alone.

      I know what u mean! I don't feel like I'm doing as well, but I looked back at my training and my times and weekly mileage was similar. I think a lot of it is u have to work so much harder for your first half. At least I hope so!!!!!

      I wanted to delay until tomorrow when it would be warmer but too many people had things to do so we toughed it out and did it. It was SO COLD! I have never been that cold before. I am STILL cold lol

    Great, easy 9 mile run with the girls. Started off slow and finished with a 10 min pace. Perfect way to kick off a busy Saturday.
