Lisa and Amanda, heard Dick Beardsley speak at the Fargo Marathon in 2007. Very inspriational - moreso for what he had to overcome post that dramatic early 80's success (what a time for American runners). Also the idea of snow shoveling for exercise (or putting a weighted vest on to mow the lawn) has stuck with me since. We deprive ourselves of so much pratical day-to-day exercise benefits - power tillers versus hand, etc.
