great Almost 15 14.22 mi 01:46 07:26 pace

Well was supposed to run 15 with the first 11 being at a moderate pace then the last 4 at race pace.. well that didn't happen. J2 and I hit the ground running today.. our first mile was 8:39 and it was the slowest one we logged... The temps were perfect for this type of run 38* at the start and 44 at the finish. dropped J2 off at 10 miles and I was supposed to go for 5 more.. just didn't have that .8 in me to finish at 15.. but went thru the 13.1 mark at 1:37 .. so I figured I had done enough..
In all seriousness I needed this run today. I need the confidence of running at this pace to put the past behind me. I needed to show myself that I CAN keep my goals high and if I work toward those goals with a good plan.. there is no reason that I can't accomplish what I have set out to do..
Have a Great Saturday everyone!!

Great running James, I think you should give the marathon another try - with these paces a sub 3.30 would be easy, and remind j2 for me how much easier it is when your not wearing brand new shoes!!!
