I really didn't want to run this Tempo run.. I wanted to just run 55 min and leave it at that. However, that thought came back to my head, "What is that other age group runner doing today? That one that is going to finish just ahead of me.. all because I wasn't wanting to run this tempo run.. and he did and that gave him the edge"... Yep that is how this mind works. So I ran it.. 15 min easy pace.. 25 min working up and hovering at just below 7:00 at the appropriate time then easing off for 5 min.. then 15 min cool down pace. Happy Hump day!
