    Summer is back? Friendly cyclist ahead of me stopped to sweep glass out of the bike lane. I take back all those mean things I said about bike commuters.

    WET! One near miss on the way in, one screw loose (fender - not my head), and 1 new BRIGHT YELLOW helmet. The better to see me by, my pretties!

    A bit rainy but quite warm. Nice ride though I can feel how much fitness I've lost. Time to roll my sleeves up...

    I cheated - ran 9 min during this walk. I couldn't help it. 3 min with orthodics with Altra ZeroDrop shoes. The rest without b/c the orthodics were killing my feet. It felt...ok?!

    Brain fart = wrong turn resulted in odd route home via busy Rainier Ave but got to catch the Mts to Sound trail home. Turned out to be a nice change.

    Beautiful morning for a HILLY ride along Lake WA. Ornamental cherries are in full bloom. Stats: Total elevation change = 1,714 feet; Total climb = 862 ft, 1 dead rat. Now, to shower then bike to work!

    Went old-school today. HOLY cow is this thing a good workout. It doesn't measure distance, just RPM & cals. Just had a few minutes before end of nap time, went quite well!

    I can tell it's getting to the end of my workweek - TIRED. Busy busy. At least I got a little bit of exercise in today (work more tonight).

    Nice ride in, raining on the way home! I didn't plan for rain, got pretty wet but had a great ride nevertheless. Happy Tuesday!
