  1. RUN
alright SoJo half marathon 13.14 mi 02:56 13:21 pace

HR146. 1-800-UNDERTRAINED. This was 100% mental. So proud of myself for doing it.

  2. VELO
    Hotel sweat 7.1 mi 00:30 14.2mph pace

HR121. It took discipline to force myself to do this but I’m glad I did.

No matter how many times I learn this lesson (just do it; you'll be glad you did) I still resist doing workouts. We humans are strange beasts.

  3. RUN
Short long one 5.01 mi 01:01 12:14 pace

HR135. Had trouble getting my head and body in the game. Was super happy to negative split this one with a 10:52 last mile. Gorgeous day.

  4. RUN
    Quickie 2 mi 00:27 13:16 pace

HR133. Longing for the days when I’m not so pressed for time.

  5. RUN
    Chilly run 3 mi 00:40 13:27 pace

No HR data. 39 degrees! Lengthened out the run parts and shortened the walk parts.

  6. VELO

    HR128

  7. RUN
    7.12 mi 01:29 12:27 pace

HR 137. 46 degrees and cloudy. Just the way I like it. Had to push through fatigue at three miles but ended up negative splitting the run. Gravity for the win!

  8. RUN
Faster than last time 2.7 mi 00:35 12:52 pace

HR133. A little more get up and go. Bonus points because we ran this in the pouring rain.

  9. RUN

    No HR. Just snot.

  10. RUN
alright Truncated Copperton 6 mi 01:16 12:37 pace

HR132. This was hard after all the icky cold/flu stuff (and much, much snot left the building along this route, ahem), but I felt good getting it done. Hoping to jump up to 10 next Saturday which... read more

    HR unknown. Hard but good.

  13. VELO
Getting back into the game 9.05 mi 00:35 15.5mph pace

HR 130. My lungs are still full of goo but a little sweat doesn’t hurt.

  14. RUN
    “Long” run 3.01 mi 00:40 13:16 pace

HR136. Ended up with the flu this week. Probably should have skipped but needed to get out. Did the AMR Motherlode of Miles meetup and choked thru my run. Very smoky from nearby fires - didn’t help... read more

Glad you could join up with the BAMR tribe but wish the conditions were a little kinder and gentler.

HR139. I have a cold. That should bump up the HR a bit.

  16. RUN
    Smokin’ 7 mi 01:25 12:12 pace

HR 135. Two large forest fires 45 miles away made this run a challenge. We started up at Copperton, which kept us above the smoke for 4 miles... after a mile of the smoky stuff getting worse by the... read more

Still working through SVU - but I'm almost caught up, so will have to switch to something new. Any recommendations? It has to be something to suck me in with good writing.
