great Haycock school to Crystal City 13 mi 01:39 07:36 pace

Woke up this morning and almost didn't run at all but I had to walk my son to school anyway as the hubster took the car so Forced myself out the door and ran from his school. Planned my long run for the week today so that I don't have to run outside on Sunday morning with the low temps. Anyway, I kind of anticipated that it would be a crappy run but I soon warmed up and was feeling amazing. It was snowy and overcast but the run just stayed feeling great. I had decided as I left the house that I wouldn't look at my watch and I would just run comfortable and do the miles since I'd had a tight calf on the run last night but it wasn't feeling tight this morning (I was just feeling lazy) and I was delighted to see that when I looked down at my watch at 10 miles that I'd kept a 7'53 avg pace! woo hoo! I finished up at hubbies workplace and at what my watch (stupid unreliable Nike+) told me was 12.3 miles. Google maps just now tell me it was 13 - which makes my avg pace for the run much less/ faster than I thought i was event at 10 miles. Anyone recommend a watch that ISNT UTTER CRAP?!

??? If you really ran that fast that is insane. I think faster than my half PR!!! I don't think there is any way I could do that alone. :)
