RUN
good Pi mile 9 mi 01:27 09:39 pace
I ran into a friend around mile 3, so I had a surprise running buddy.
9 miles barefoot in mid-December would be impressive... but it was 70F here in Atlanta. I'm not complaining.

Too bad about the quad, but 9 barefoot miles any time of year is impressive.

RUN
great Wesley Road loop 9.5 mi 01:30 09:28 pace
I'd been feeling kinda down today, but nothing a longish run followed by Moes couldn't fix. I even did a couple miles barefoot after I'd warmed up, and the quad that had been acting... read more

RUN
good Atlanta to Stone Mountain 19 mi 03:10 10:00 pace
Long, flat group run. Right quad gave me some trouble throughout, and my feet got tired around mile 16, but I never felt bonky. Afterward, we hiked up and down Stone Mountain. It was a nice chan... read more

good Prado 6 mi 00:55 09:09 pace
Run club again, but we went slower, and it was great. Nevertheless, right quad was acting up a little toward the end. Huaraches with thin socks worked well for the 40F temps.

I never know what to wear to a running club, I know I'll get weird looks and comments regardless. Best of luck on the Mountain, sounds fun!! :)

alright Prado 6 mi 00:51 08:30 pace
Ran with run club, which was too fast... HR too high, plus huaraches gave me blisters. Mm.

RUN
good East Palisades Trails 15 mi 02:53 11:31 pace
Great weather. Ate a cinnamon-raisin bagel mid-run, which seemed to work well. Wore a bag that kept loosening itself and bouncing around -- guess I'll go back to the camelbak for long runs u... read more

RUN
30-30s with long warmup 6 mi
It was under 40F and wet, which was to cold to run bf or in huaraches (I know because that's what I ran in). Still, the 30-30s were nice, since I've been doing so much slow stuff lately.... read more

Whoa baby! That's fantastic. Seems most people are satisfied running 26 miles for their first-over-20-mile run. Congratulations! Did you run barefoot?

Thanks! No barefoot, I have some trail shoes for this kind of thing.
