      Whether or not this was a good idea for my ankle has yet to be seen...I suspect not, though. I'm soooo tired of my ankle!

      Still, can I just say your consistency in workouts is super awesome. Injury, no injury, feel like it, don't fell like it, your doing something. So cool.

      @Melissa - thanks! Two things have helped make me that way - having a personal trainer (who, if I call in sick, gets me to reschedule my workout ASAP, and doesn't take injury as an excuse, since he can work around it) and having a training schedule (having paid for the race in advance helps, too, since I don't want to go and embarrass myself!)

      Last time I went (2.5 weeks ago), she said I could start back, slowly, in 4-6 weeks. So I'm really trying to keep to walking, not running.

      I understand the temptation, though. When I stopped walk/jogging while we figured it out, I would actually have dreams of running.

      Soon, you'll get to run. Like, another week and a half.
