  1. RUN
    Fredericksburg 1/2 Marathon 13.31 mi 01:42 07:41 pace

Stuck with Eric for first 7 miles but then my lack of training meant my feet had blisters. Couldn't push myself as hard when every step felt like needles. Still a respectable time.

  2. RUN
    Queensdale/Ridgefield 5.19 mi 00:40 07:46 pace

Only second run since 10 miler. I was averaging 7:30 min/mi until mile 4. Too windy and uphill finish killed my pace. Felt good though.

  3. FIT
    Mowing 2.5 mi 02:30 60:00 pace

Grass was so thick took twice as long to mow. Bagger filled up very quickly.

  4. FIT
    Softball 02:00

Missed on two diving catches. I'm about a 1/2 step slower than I use to be.

  5. FIT
    Landscaping 03:00

Finally planted some shrubs in the front. Let's see if they actually last.

  6. RUN
    Neighborhood loop 7.61 mi 00:59 07:47 pace

    Night run.

  7. FIT

  9. FIT

    Used my new Garmin 305.

  10. FIT
    WaterRower 2 mi 00:12:57 06:28 pace

    Normal pace. 32-34 s/m, 9-9.5 MPH.

  11. FIT
    WaterRower 1 mi 00:05:48 05:47 pace

Wanted to see how fast I could do a mile. I was at 36-37 s/m and 10-10.5 MPH. Rested 30-60 sec and did the 2 mi workout.

  12. RUN
good Cherry Blossom 10 Mile 10.13 mi 01:15 07:24 pace

Great way to start my racing career however short it may be. Started a bit faster than I should because I was with the seeded runners: 7:03, 7:22, 7:11, 7:47, 7:30, 7:28, 7:27, 7:28, 7:38, 7:20, 6:... read more

Thanks. I hurt for 2-3 days afterwards. :)

Actually, I'm doing Marine Corps half-marathon in F'burg 16 May. And, I may do some more halfs and 10 mile races 2-3 per year at the most.

The Cherry Blossom race was well organized and weather was great. Coolest part was 1000s of feet all hitting the ground at the same time during the first few miles. Never heard that sound before. After a few miles, the pack really thinned out and the novelty of the sound wore off (read I was hurting).
