    Justin: Mixing it up would probably be better in terms of training, but I really run more because I love the long run, not because I'm in "training" for anything (other than an ultra someday). I'd do more than 27 if I had time, but I don't, at least not until winter is over. Why 27 and not 26.2? It started out as a way to average out to a marathon each run in case I had to cut one or two runs a few miles short, and now it's a habit.

    Thanks for the response Jason. I've always got racing on the mind so it's refreshing to hear someone running long distances just for the sake of loving it.
