"What to wear?" at Runner's World: accurate or obvious?

IMO Runner's World is for the novice/beginning runner. For them, it may not be so obvious. Also IMO, if you subscribe to Runner's World for more than a year, you are wasting your money... They basically recycle the same stuff over and over... and after a year a once novice runner should be able to figure out what to wear on a cold day!

Chaz, All the more reason for them to give me a column. Something new for the running readers.

Chaz: good thing I never signed up for a subscription then! :) And I guess that explain why my (non-runner) wife is more interested than I am in the free issues that show up in the mail.

Well Jason, this is my first year running and that tool really helped me when it actually turned cold. I am sure that someone who runs as much as you can sense what to wear, but it's really helped me. :-) Maybe one day I'll look at it and go, "Hey, I already know all of this stuff!"

Like I said, Ali, it's either obvious or accurate. In your case it was the latter (if you kept warm, that is!) And to be honest, though I've learned what to wear, I also change what I wear. This winter is totally different than last winter, which was totally different than the winter before, at least in terms of wardrobe.
