Sometimes injuries can be a blessing even if they don't feel like it at the time. My husband has been suffering with a stress fracture on his foot and hasn't been able to run, bike or do the elliptical for going on 5-6 weeks. He never learned to swim as a child, so at 53 years old he has been taking swimming lessons!
