Although I have been MIA for the majority of the past few weeks with a foot injury, I have been keeping my sanity by learning how to play golf. I know a lot of runners go "crazy" and some even get depressed when an injury has them down for weeks, but I decided picking up a new hobby might help prevent these "blues"...and it did. As frustrating as it can be, there's something about hitting a golf ball is pretty relaxing. I'm just glad I could find an outlet to focus my energy, cross-train my back & arms, and keep my heat acclimation up. :)
So there you go, I have been busy and active even though I haven't been able to run much lately. Can't wait to rejoin my running buddies soon!
