alright Treadmill because rain. 4 mi 00:41 10:07 pace

Took one walk break at 2 miles for a minute + added a mile cool-down for a total of 5 miles @ 58:02. The entire post-run injury rehab/prevention routine took longer than the actual run.

I feel better than I have been, so that's progress, but I'm still terrified I'm not going to be able to make it through this half. I guess we'll see how far I can get on my long run this Saturday! That'll be the deciding factor.

  2. FIT
    good Lucy's class 01:00

Tight, but worked it out by the end.

  3. FIT
alright boring. so boring. 12 mi 01:58 09:50 pace

I just couldn't run the 10 miles I had planned - my hip still hurt too much for pavement. But I still had to do some kind of training so I added two miles went at the elliptical for 2 hours. UGH.

  4. RUN
    injured run/walk 2 mi

Massive failure of a workout. Couldn't run more than 1/2 a mile at at time.

  5. FIT
    good 4 mi 00:36 09:05 pace

My hip was still feeling pretty tight from Saturday's run, but I had to get something in, so 4 miles on the elliptical.

  6. FIT
    alright Lucy's class 01:00

My shoulders felt oddly weak throughout this practice, but it was a completely necessary stretch out after Saturday's long run.

  7. RUN
alright Schuylkill path out and back 9 mi 01:34 10:23 pace

I was really intimidated by 9, so I made sure to start off nice and slow. Felt great up until 8 and every second after that wasn't fun anymore. After Broad Street I'm sticking to 10Ks.
