Bad, bad run.
My iPhone RunKeeper App stopped working...and I wasn't listening to music, so I could hear how LOUD I land on the pavement while running...and then I realized I was just landing pretty much flat-footed, and I kept hearing this "heel-toe, heel-toe" in the back of my head, so then I started VERY consciously trying to run that way.....and that's when my left shin started to really hurt.
So I had to walk the last mile.....
I don't know what's up - and then I got home, was doing some reading, and saw that striking on your heel is actually NOT what I want....but now I'm nervous that my running form isn't good and I only have 2.5 weeks until the half-marathon....also made me nervous for my 9 mile run on Saturday....
Anyway - all in all - it sucked.

yeah heel-toe is bad news.

Yah man --- I went to the running store today "Fleet Feet" (awesome place) and talked with them and was just reassured that however I've been running that's been working for me for 9 weeks now....STAY with it. And yah, heel-toe was confirmed as bad.
Sucks that I had to learn the hard way.
Now just trying to figure out why my right hip is hurting.
