Day 128.

When it comes to humpin', they say you gotta keep it fresh. Today is the last mid-week 8 according to R's schedule. I wanted to mix it up, so I decided to use the "run two miles, walk two minutes" strategy that I saw mentioned in one of The Una Runner posts. Wanted to keep it easy to start and then do 9:30 or below, achilles permitting.

Splits: 10:38, 09:30, 02:02, 09:14, 08:36, 02:14, 09:05, 09:25, 02:25, 05:21

So I didn't quite make the eight. After the third couplet, the achilles was really tight, and I stopped to walk home.

Achilles aside, this was a great run. Felt good to run my paces instead of rpace. I love helping her train, but sometimes its mentally exhausting to slow down. Guess it's good practice for those 8-12 hr runs. ;)

Anyways, I'm off. Ice bucket + stretching for breakfast! Have a great Hump Day everyone!
