Day 127.

The plan for this morning was to do an every-other for 5 miles. That is, a mile at RP (Rebecca Pace) and then a mile faster, but keeping at or around 140 the whole time. Repeat that for five miles and throw a little hill in the middle and see how things shook out.

Great weather this morning. I got out later than I'd hoped, but it was still a nice pre-dawn-turned-day run. Splits: 10:52, 09:44, 10:34, 09:38, 10:14. Didn't exactly stick to RP (11:00ish) but it was a nice high zone 2 run over a favorite course.

Achilles was a little bit tight, but I found a nice remedy to that last night - bucket of icy water and a nice beer. This morning I think I'll substitute coffee.
