good Hump Day Hill 8.01 mi 01:19 09:49 pace

Day 107. Tough to get out there in the dark this morning. I was tired, my legs were sore and the temperature was supposed to feel like -1 with wind chill. MAN UP. Got out the door and realized the Garmin was dead. Came back inside and let it charge for 10 minutes or so while I browsed dailymile (Do you people ever sleep? :) )

Got out on the road and decided - "What better way to wake up then to take on the hill leading to the center of town". Data point: low of 591ft, high of 860ft over 1.73mi (a 2.94% grade) - Fun.

Ran through town and back down onto my normal loop near the town forest roads. Got back home feeling pretty spent. Need to stretch and have some coffee, STAT.

All things considered, a good run. I didn't really struggle on the monster hill, and maintained a sub-10 pace over rolling terrain, on little sleep with leaden legs, on the 107th consecutive day of running. I'll take it.

Have a great day today everyone. Happy Hump Day!

Great job! I'm sitting here mulling my 2 degree run, and your 'man up' response was helpful, lol!
