Day 189-2. First I played "is this a trail". Nope. Wasn't a trail. Then down to the connector. Tall grass single track. Hop the log. One of my faster descents down narrow ridge to river and along it's edge. Up the winding single-track to the tire swing. Nice hop on the tire and hop off without breaking stride. Oh yeah! Down the long gentle grade with another log to leap over. Use your mind. Slow down time as you glide through the air. Running is flying, you know. Most of the time you're not on the ground. Think about it.
Back up the street and into the neighborhood. Why not open up a bit? Last half mile at a 7:16 pace. Not bad for legs that are still sore from Crow Hill and Leominster State Forest on Sunday. Knee a little whiny at the beginning but by the end I had blasted the rust off.
