    Just rehearsal.

  2. FIT
    alright 00:30

I feel much better now, less hurty in the abs. I should have gone running, but I decided to apply for an AWESOME JOB instead.

    alright Danced 02:00

So so very tired. And I dislike being a perfectionist, but this would all go so much better if I could place my right foot properly and not torque it.

  4. Restarting this to maybe be a bit more diligent about tracking my miles and activity.

  5. FIT
alright Dancing, for about 45 minutes

Pretty well, I still need to do a bit more before performance on Thursday night.

Not well. New medication seemed to take a lot out of me.

I haven't been treating my body nearly well enough to do that well. Not exercising, not sleeping well, not eating enough, or drinking enough water. So, today was a big step back for me. I walked... read more

Crappy weeks happen. Possibly that's why we have measurements of time, so we can describe to others how long suckiness has been going on.

  9. Was going to go to the gym last night, but I worked for 13 hours (!) instead.

    good belly dancing 01:45

Did a bit of choreographed dancing in the first class, second class was focused on stomach isolations, which hurts.

  11. I plan on running outside today (!) since it's going to be in the 40s. I'm a wuss, so running in the 30s is not an option.

it's not so bad to run in the cold, I think you just have to get used to it!

Simply getting out there and churning a few miles makes it more than alright in my book.

Very few sports teams get to claim an entire country's people, but the Canadians do. Seems kinda cocky. We don't have the New Jersey Americans or the Cancun Mexicans. Of course, Canadians are so cuddly, it is hard to get mad at them.

Indeed. I consider them my neighbors to the north, and thus, they should understand a bit of trash talking when any of their teams play mine.

  15. No running tonight. Auditions for a play instead. I may dance a bit when I get home. I've been lax.

It went ok. I'm getting the strength back that I lost from thanksgiving to now. Dance helps, I think.

Good that you were able to do the weights and treadmill. I did not do anything today other than walk the stairs in the parking garage this morning and this afternoon. I'll do better tomorrow. You rock.

Good for you for going! Seriously. You might not feel much of a difference right now, but keep it up and give it time :)

I, on the other hand, need to take my own advice. I wanted to give my shins today off (plus got stuck at work late), but I better get myself back to the gym tomorrow. Hopefully I can follow your lead!

I'm working on it. I mean, I'm having a better time of it today, but it may be due to the fact that I'm getting back into a schedule that feels normal. That always seems to help a great deal.

It went well. I'm still not up to my previous lifting, but much better than a couple of weeks ago. I did 30lbs for my arms on the curls and extenstions, and 40 on vertical row.

I may move inside for some weight training while the cold weather is here. Always a good idea to hit the whole body rather than just running.

It really helps motivate me, oddly enough. It feels so much more quantitative than cardio. You know how many reps, how much weight and how many sets you can do and when it gets easy, you go for a bit more. Also, you can un-ironically say "Welcome to the gun show."

Never hurts to start slow, unless you just get bored. I think you mentioned a recent surgery, so slow and steady might win the race rather than risking an injury by moving out too fast.

I was kinda bored. The intervals were too short on the running bit, and I was just sort of hitting my stride when I was supposed to go back to walking. I'll try the week 2 podcast next and see if it is any better.

It is Couch to 5k. So you start at the very basics and work up to running a 5k. You can find a bunch of podcasts online, and eventually there are ones that work from a 5k to a 10k etc.
