    Easing back into it. Ran a mile and walked 2. Felt good to be out there but still nervous that the Achilles will flare up again... fingers crossed.

      FYI, I had a problem with my Achilles, too. I added heel lifts, stretched, iced it, but it did not get better until I changed my diet. Of course, I still stretch and I still put heel lifts into all my shoes.

      No experience with heel pain. Could it be PF? Hope you can get some answers soon. I know you are frustrated!!

      Is it the bottom of your foot? Do you sometimes wear heels, sometimes flats? I accidentally discovered wearing heels will give me a break from my heel pain, but if I wear them too much, my calves tighten up on my runs.

      This sounds similar to my issue just not as severe. My advice is go to the doctor. Specifically the foot doctor. PT helped my issue. You may want to focus on strengthening your calves. My right ITB and glutes were weak and exercises for them help immensely. Good luck.

    I only have two ice packs and I have more hurt body parts than that. Left Achilles is acting up and causing my right hip to bother me from favoring it while I'm at work. Grrrrr.
