    Not much time this morning, so opted for a quicker and shorter effort. A bit more double shot rather than the flat white of recent runs. This weekend I have new longer run routes to try out.

  10. After work went to the gym, 20min cycle + 2km row (7:53) and then a range of weights.

    Tiptoed out of the office at midday for a sneaky 5km run. Sedate pace but ended up a little sweaty all the same.

    Another hill climb up Mt Eden. Still slow but less of the old man shuffle on the steep parts. Carved off about 3 mins from last week's time. Overall a good run in light rain.

  14. No running today, went to the gym instead. Weights + 15mins on bike + 2km row (7:43).

    Sweet 8km. Carved off 57 seconds from the same course a week ago, feeling the fitness coming back.

    Not blowing hard at all but heavy legs. Yesterday's climb up Mt Eden coupled with a gym session this morning = old man shuffle.

      Really let the fitness slide down, and the weight creep up when my wife was pregnant last year. I used to be a minute/km quicker at that distance. Expecting the fitness to pick up in the coming weeks.
