A very enjoyable lunchtime run in the glorious sunshine. 1st run of the week for me. First run in a while where I was a little more confident of my abilities. Still a few niggles but I feel like I&... read more

Saturday Loop 10.03 mi 01:31 09:05 pace
Getting out on Saturday as a night out planned could mean hangover and no Sunday run. A fair few walk sections and pauses still but improvement coming (I hope).

alright lunchtime run with mb 5.36 mi 00:47 08:50 pace
a nice, fairly warm and sunny run with bingy over lunchtime, it felt like the first time out in a while so a mix of sweet and sour.

good morning bockhampton loop 6.21 mi 00:54 08:40 pace
lovely run on a sunny morning today to make up for not being able to get out yesterday. Not awake enough to add any more thoughts. I enjoyed it though. :)

10k is a great way to start the day - far better than, say, Special K. (appears I'm unintentionally channelling Dr Seuss this morning)

Hi I'm Tom, I am getting on a bit and I'm a shoe addict!
Very amusing write up Stu! Funny thing is no matter how many shoes I buy and try I always end up going back to the same ones... Inov8 295. Despite the fact they keep falling apart on me. Of course they have changed the model now so things will have to change. My addiction is fuelled by my frustrating anatomy - very wide, stumpy feet! So nearly all the shoes I WANT to wear don't accomodate me :(

alright lunchtime run - sweating it out 3.21 mi 00:28 08:42 pace

I hope you're feeling better Stu. No point in running the NDVM if you're not ready ... there'll be more on the calendar later in the year. And I agree that you've got get back into enjoying running before anything else. Sounds like this was a good first step toward that :)
