Ironically, the three sets of 45-second plank position were more taxing than time on the treadmill. My hamstrings are unevenly reflexibilizing themselves. My calves, quads and rectus- to transverse... read more

    great pwned #c25k w1d3 2.28 mi 00:30 13:09 pace

I'm finding this initial week too easy, so though I'm intent on not pushing too hard, I've found myself walking at my old-normal slow jog pace, and running .5 mph faster than my old-normal speed. A... read more

    #c25k w1d2.

Skipped a day or two, because I'm trying to create a routine schedule - run, yoga, run, yoga, run, yoga, rest. (Though I *was* itching to take a ballet class on the rest day.) Got my s... read more

  7. Tomorrow. Tomorrow, I start again, with new shoes, 15 pounds to gain and a chocolate habit I just can't kick. Yoga, c25k and ballet are on the menu. Because, everything else is different, so I may ... read more

I got off track a few months ago before I finished it, and when I started running again, I just said eff it and redialed it. It was ridiculously easy for awhile and then I thought about skipping but.I.couldn't.skip. Heh.

Yeah, looking at what the week entails, I think I'll redo week 5. I only managed day 1, so far, and day 3 looks daunting!

Note to self: never get so sunburned again, that your ankles swell, so that you can't wear socks or regular shoes.

  12. I have to take a few days off, so I'll get to repeat Week 5 of #c25k. Sadly, the few days are needed because I have such a brutal sunburn, I can't wear socks or running shoes.

Holy fabulous workout day. AND despite the headaches I've been having, I managed to re-find the two pounds I lost last week.

Yeah, it was kind of funny when I weighed myself at the gym last week and went FUCK! - the guy on the treadmill nearby almost fell down.

  19. It hit me today that at some point, I'm going to have to start running off of a treadmill, if I plan to do the Terry Fox run. I can't decide if I want to attempt that after I can hit 5k, or before.

I know how you feel. I was there. I just started running outside last week. I had run seven weeks on a treadmill. I was nervous of the outside unknown. But after doing it a few times now, its not that bad. I actually like it (sshhh) haha The hardest part is actually doing it and not letting yourself get talked out of it. Well for me anyways. Good Luck :)

I hear you. It hit me the other day that if I'm going to actually complete a 5k I better start running outside. That said, I'm sticking with the treadmill for now.

My body's weird. I lose weight, the less I exercise. When I hit the gym three days a week, it helps maintain my weight.
