  1. RUN

8:50 with hills...Excellent...5 weeks until The Shamrock Run...I am right where I want to be. Anyone else running it?

  2. RUN
    great 6.44 mi 00:57 08:47 pace

Six and a half miles at an 8:47 pace...speed work is paying off pretty quickly.

  3. RUN
    good 26.52 mi 04:55 11:07 pace

I told myself when I first set out to train that my goal was to do at 26 miles on my birthday, and that is TODAY. 26.52 miles on my 40th birthday. My primary takeaway? This distance is ghastly...... read more

  4. RUN
    great 4.09 mi 00:38 09:21 pace

Misty is a nice run condition...especially when it is 47 in December.

  5. RUN
    great 4.09 mi 00:38 09:21 pace

Damn...that was cold. I like running in the cold, but not necessarily when I am blowing ice out of my beard.

  6. RUN
    alright 5.03 mi 00:49 09:42 pace

Short run to break in some new shoes for the snow. 1) breaking in shoes sucks 2) waterproof shoes with aggressive tread are heavy!

  7. RUN
good West Shore Trail to End of Do... 11.23 mi 01:52 09:58 pace

You can't beat this weather!!!! Last couple runs have been slower than I would like, but legs otherwise feel great! Maffetone still being followed. 44 days until the Marathon.

  8. RUN
    great west 8.88 mi 01:26 09:41 pace

Cold...but felt really good. Hope they keep the trail clear when the snow comes.

  9. RUN
    good Home - Erie - State Fair - La... 21.82 mi 04:03 11:07 pace

Longest run EVER...and HOLY SHIT, these distances SUCK! Not much more to say about it. 50 Days until the Marathon.

  10. RUN
    good Jones - Warners - Canal Trail... 9.49 mi 01:33 09:48 pace

Ran Maffetone and did it under 10 mpm. I will TAKE IT. 9 miles is starting to feel like my comfort zone. I will take that too.

  11. RUN
    great 3.01 mi 00:26 08:36 pace

Only had a little time, so I said screw Maffetone and ran pace...I almost never do it. Over a short distance, it is nice. I should schedule a 5K.

  12. RUN
    great Milton - Horan - Warners - Be... 8.77 mi 01:26 09:47 pace

Hills - Hills - Hills...Everywhere there be hills. Great pace considering and everything felt good at the start, during, and after. YAY training.

  13. RUN
    blah 17.17 mi 03:08 10:56 pace

Had 22 planned...but I made the fatal error of starting the run with hill and trying to end it with hill...couple that with the extra cold weather gear and the rain that came, and SCREW THIS RUN...... read more

  14. RUN
    great 4.09 mi 00:38 09:13 pace

Didn't REALLY watch heartrate...due to the wind, I just ran what I felt...

  15. RUN
    great Fairmount-Bridge St-Armstrong... 9.02 mi 01:28 09:44 pace

GREAT day for a run...cool but no cold = excellent pace!

  16. RUN
    great Gerelock-Township 5-Home 6.81 mi 01:06 09:42 pace

I LOVE running in sub-freezing temps...just want to put that out there...and when did 7 miles start seeming like a quick run? Pace was slow but I will take it two days from a 19 miler.

  17. RUN
    good Home - Erie - Hiawatha - OLP ... 18.85 mi 03:16 10:24 pace

It so VERY satisfying when you set out with a plan and a goal and accomplish it. Along the way I got drenched from a torrential rain and listened to 80% of a thought provoking self help book. THIS... read more
