Wow! What a run! Today I had an 8 mile run w/4@15K pace... well... I'm running my tempo by HR instead of pace, so I was aiming to run 4 between 165-180, and remembering how Saturday's run with 8@MRP went, I was curious to see how fast I would be going... :-) My first 2.28 (to the point I turned around at) of tempo run was at 6:17 pace, and my heart was racing, so I had to bring it down a bit. Overall, I ran the 4 miles @6:24. It really made my cooling down pace seem super easy, and I'm super pleased with my 8@7:30 w/ avg HR of 153. My strength and speed are coming back!

thanks David, my first OC goal is simply to PR - run faster than 3:16; second goal is to BQ - run faster than 3:10; third goal is to run fast enough to actual GET IN to Boston - run faster than 3:05 :-)
