Great gym workout today. MAN it's been a while.

  12. Is anybody here a member of Urban Active? The reviews on google/yelp are pretty harsh...I was thinking of joining the one on St. Matthews but it's kind of a put-off atm

    • Dana

I am. Taylorsville is the best, Been to St. Matthews a few times, and it's not bad, some of their instructors teach at both, so I'll catch their class over there sometimes. I don't go to Preston or Dixie, not up to par with the East End facilities.

I joined up the other day :) Thanks for the bit of reassurance. Went this afternoon and it didn't seem *that* bad. There are the cellphone walkers and grunters but they're that not that hard to tune out if you're really working out.

One thing I wish they implemented is that patrons carry their own towel...I was watching a few people workout and just left their sweat hanging of the machine BLECH!

No cellphone walkers at taylorsville Rd, the reception is horrible in the building! ( which is a good thing! )
