Haha! I did swim maybe 100 yards, but I really suck at it! But I'll never get better if I don't start somewhere!

Love it Mark!!! Yes you have to start somewhere and I remember my first swim this year.. 25m stopped at the end to breath for 4 min!! LOL.. it was pathetic but now... it gets blown away-- way to go! it is such a strength work out for the rest of your body, everything else improves too!!! Great job!

@Frank, nah, no tri for me. Just with the kids at the pool and thought I'd see what I could do. Plenty of gasping and panting to be sure! But I AM blaming my 'I wonder if I can do this' on all you DM'rs!

I'm in the same boat, Mark (well, not literally because it would mean I'm not swimming!)...I learned to swim a long time ago, but have forgotten how to be an efficient (and effective) swimmer.

Its's so much harder than it looks! Great job! What an athlete you are. He's at the pool with the kiddos, looks with squinted eyes at the lap lane as if in challenge and says to himself, "I wonder..." Sweet!
