Nice bit of adjusting Kyra but I think you could have done the intermediate considering what the beginner plan had. But on the other hand if you haven't been keeping up with your running the beginner plan is great to build up without risk of injury!

It's not just you. It is like that for most races now. I hate not walking away with a little something for all my hard work. I also hate how the race directors are making the age divisions in 10 yr spans rather than 5 yr spans.

Yeah, it kinda blows. But it does make discovering small race with awesome perks something to celebrate. :) if you ever get the urge to travel to a flat, small Boston Qualifier look up The Duel in Wichita Falls, Texas. Volunteered for them this year and they do things I've never heard of in big races.
