Had no idea how today was going to turn out because I’ve been dealing with stuffy sinuses and sore throats (I think from allergies), we were supposed to do a tempo run at the trails where the race is Saturday, and by god I did it. Warm up was kinda meh, so didn’t know how I was going to feel, but when we got into the tempo part I felt alright. Wanted to stop of course at mile 1, 1.5, and 2, but kept it up and felt really good about it.
The race should be great Saturday.
