Lots and lots of trouble with the knee today. Discouraging and disheartening so early on in my training.

Ugh! I didn't realize you'd been having knee issues - IT band or something else?? I do see you have a big, big happy face though. That's more than I've been able to say lately!!

I didn't know I was having knee issues until this morning either :(. That all-too-familiar pain from my IT band just started nagging, then I started having trouble all over the whole knee area--I'm not even sure what it is.

Oh, how weird! I selected the "Injured" face, but it's coming up as a big 'ol smile--funny! I've been so sorry to read how rough it's been for you lately. I'm having similar thoughts--I have 2 more dream marathons (WDW and NYC), but beyond that, I'm pretty sure I'll stick with halfs.

I'm sorry to hear about the knee problems. Maybe it was just a fluke? Half's are far more fun than the full marathon and the training is much more doable. I guess it doesn't help that the last two I've trained for have been fall marathons which means nothing but HOT training. Hopefully you're knee feels better on your next run. Get out that foam roller and roll, roll, roll!!!

Definitely! I brought it out the minute I walked in the door... how long do you roll, may I ask? I'm trying to figure out the guidelines...

Good for you! I only roll for about a minute of so. It hurts so "bad" - oh, I mean "good", lol
