While the run itself didn't go too well, it was better to have kept legs moving.

RUN
good Neighborhood A 5.02 km 00:42 13:25 pace
Can't really call it a run, but it's a very slow jog with very short steps so that my medial shin doesn't hurt. Felt much better to be on the move and it's definitely worthwhile... read more

Good run Vikas. Could be the sprinting that caused this. So should be good in a weeks time. Ice and compression should be good.

@Manish, @Sudhir, @Srivatsan, @Vivek.. Thanks guys.. Well VIv, I guess it's due to some faster runs that I posted in March.. and in general, bio-mechanical inefficiencies.. I'm working on the latter..

walk
Neighborhood B 2.9 km 00:33 18:18 pace
Since there was a bit of pain on medial shin, took the day easy and walked.. Had applied crepe bandage and ice previous day and was actually better today.. So, only walking and stretching today.

I have found that compression really helps. Also a light massage with Madhivala Oil before you put on the bandage. Get well soon

vikas, true, except that i run late evenings. so the sea breeze makes it actual very pleasant that part of the day. it's the dogs i am wary off!
about 1 month ago • Like
@Nikhil, thanks man.. @Milton, the dogs surely can't out-pace you, but they can get so aggressive at times that it can be dangerous...
