On this mid-recovery week run, all Hal asks for is 6 miles, "a listen-to-your-body workout. Run as you feel." That's what I've been doing lately on most training runs anyway, unless a specific pace is recommended. Running by feel resulted in another run that felt great. I also felt a bit more energy than yesterday, one more day removed from Sunday's 20. Another near-perfect morning for running, 53 °F @5:35 AM.

So you're recovering well from the 20? I imagine the next 20 will go a bit easier as your body is getting used to the endurance.

Thanks, Kavitha, Keith, and Jeni! Keith, yes-- recovering well from the 20, and I expect the next one to be less difficult. This one came after two increasing weeks. Hal's schedule has two more 20's, but they are every other week, with a recovery week in between. That should help!

Vern - you are absolutely rocking it! So happy to hear that you continue to get stronger and stronger and are still feeling great. In the past my 2nd 20 in Hal's plans have been my "best" ones. The last one for me I just take it easy and enjoy the ride. Way to go Vern! You are crushing it!
