It sucks when three miles leave you drained...I feel like a fat person.

Easy --- felt okay. I got myself some new headaches meds --- they are more powerful and have less side affects, of course the effers are $25 a pill.

Isn't Meth cheaper than that? Oh, and Arie says go vegan and your headaches will go the way of the Dodo.

Gary, yeah Meth is cheaper, but what do you think triggered the headaches?

Meth should only be used for weight loss and providing a nice nest egg for your family.

My headaches and/or their medicine are still wiping me out. I could be getting paranoid, but when I opened the door after only two miles I am pretty sure my dog was judging me.

That sucks. On the bright side, your calf is getting a little more rest. Hope you get over the headaches soon!

Yep, the silver lining is I am not rushing back from injury. Thank you baby Jebus.

The dog was mad at you because 2 miles isn't even long enough for him t raid the pantry and poop on the floor.

Easy with no pain --- wanted to test how my calf felt on back to back days. A couple more days of taking it easy and I think I can start training again. Though I already miss running in my Cadences.

Ugh, sorry Palmer. Cowtown sounds like a better idea.

My mother has had hip pain that makes it very hard to get into and out of a car or even a chair sometimes without pain. I told her about how it helped my elbow and her PT then tried it with her and she can't believe how much it helped her. I was skeptical about it too until I had it done to me. It can't hurt if it does reoccur.

Glad to hear you're pain free. Return the shoes? Or do we need Obama to step in with his Shoe Redistribution program?

Supposed to be four, but I am following a very simply program --- if my calf starts hurting stop running. What I don't get is why this always happens halfway through an out and back. Also, l... read more

A test of my calf. Felt sore, but no real pain. Hopefully the extra days offs prevented another 3-month blow out.

I picked up a slight tweak in my right calf. I am probably going to take a few days off, take the steroids my vet prescribed for my dog and hope for the best.

I can hook you up with a former cyclist that can get this stuff no problem. As far as I know, he's not really doing anything these days and could use the cash after losing all his sponsors.

I agree it would suck to break down now, hopefully a few days rest clears this up. Also, I prefer to get my drugs from dog mainly because he won't testify against me. Hell, I replaced his pills with Advil, and he doesn't even know the difference --- stupid dog.
