    • Matthew

I just got my first. I got the Ultimate Direction. I don't have anything to compare it to, but I like it so far. Holds 20 ounces and has a nice pouch to store keys, gels, id. Here is a link.

Vanessa: For anything under 15k, I stay without a water break. To compensate for that, I take a 'walk' break for 10 seconds which seems to work even better than water for me. In my opinion, anything at 10k or less, water isn't needed until after the run. That being said, would a water belt be overkill for you? They seem to be popular for longer distances or Saturday running.

Actually I think it's patellar tendonitis so the IT band may not be the best choice. Thanks for the suggestion!!

It's been rough this week. Blame it on the temp.

It actually felt nice out there last night since it rained before I headed out. I have no idea where that side cramp came from.
