It was a great first family ride,until my little guy lost momentum and almost rolled into the street . . . got my first bike bruises on the first ride . . . now I'm ready for a real ride, with Elijah in the trailer, so mama can move those muscles :) Oh how I missed my bike :)

    Isn't this weather great for biking! Even I've been enjoying riding in a way that's been "missed" since before it got cold. :) p.s. What are "bike bruises?"

    my calf took a beating while I helped my son manage the incline . . .was swollen last night and VERY tender today. Every season I end up with several 'war wounds' from family rides . . . but that won't keep us off our bikes :) Happy riding . . . thinking we're gonna try the trailer tonight and head downtown for some frozen yougurt
