great Negative split insanity (cont'd) 3.22 mi 00:31 09:46 pace

Something is definitely UP. 3rd run in a row w/ split negative by a minute or more. At all different lengths, too--6.66, 4.68, 3.22. Why? How? I thought maaybe it was wind, but today there wasn't any, so...? Wasn't going for a tempo run per se, but today's 1st half was 16:13 & 2nd half 15:15. So 10:04 pace to 9:28 pace. WTF?! :D Oh, AND: My arch hasn't been hurting at all since I switched to Newts! Wish I'd had em when I started running in late '10.

    Negative splits are a sign of a disciplined runner who knows how to pace well. I love them -- I hate feeling like I'm going to run out of energy, so it's fantastic when you start to feel stronger midiway through a run. Yay you.
