  1. Rockin' K recap:

Well, it's about time we get that recap:-) I really have no advice because I've never been there. The closest thing I've got is PPM but that seems quite a bit different. The world of trail ultras is so different than road racing. I'll be interested to hear any advice others give because someday I may try to follow in your footsteps. Glad you are already thinking about doing it again and it didn't completely deflate you. Use it as a learning experience and move on.

Great seeing you out there, and meeting you (briefly) in person! Not sure if you remember, but I also saw you at the manned aid station on your second loop! You looked sweaty, or I would have hugged you! Hope to see you back on the trails soon!

Thanks for taking the time to give us the recap. You picked a tough course to do your first ultra. But this will help you on your next try.

It was the best of runs; it was the worst of runs. It was a day of wisdom; it was a day of foolishness. It is a far, far longer trail I'm on, than I have ever run.

I still think the 910 is the best tri (and maybe running - haven't tried 620) watch they make.
There was supposed to be a 910 replacement this spring, but they've pushed it back now to not cannibalize sales of this Fenix 2.
To me, the Fenix 2 is too clunky for daily tri training; would have to have a need for the ski/navigating features to justify it, or for people needing 50-hour battery life for ultras.
