Wind, rain, flooding, and running didn't seem to go together for me.
To the indoor track--better than the treadmill and better than running in a cold, soaking rain for that long.
About half-way in, I decided that I was going to do 10 today. I missed out on some of my mileage earlier in the week because of time, so I went for it. I worked through some discomfort in my hips halfway through and finished feeling like I still had some in the tank. My splits were pretty consistent, most of them, not all, within 10 seconds or so. You will notice that goal #1 is now gone on my profile. I have run 10 miles!

@Matthew L You are not the first person who has told me that. Dry and warm (albeit somewhat dizzy from going around in circles) was better than wet and cold. (I really didn't get dizzy.) I just ran. I concentrated on my foot strikes, my stride, my pace, my aches and pains while working through them, my thoughts and determination etc. In fact, I think I concentrated better running there than I do trying to watch traffic, bumps and breaks in the road, dogs, people and other various things outside.
