  2. RUN
good Young man trail 6.65 mi 01:14 11:05 pace

I'm not sure where the name came from but that's what google maps calls it. The climb was more of a hike than a run. Then I struggled to cut through into hidden valley, went through the t... read more

Don't bother trying to run up or down Old Man Trail as well. I tried, but it's more of a serious hike. Old Man runs parallel to Corona Del Loma, just to the east.. between the CDL start and the water tank.

Thanks for the heads up. I've "run" CDL before and I remember it being even tougher than Young Man. I assumed Old Man would be similar. I'll try it out at some point when I feel like doing another run/hike combo.

I can "run" CDL as well, but Old Man is much more difficult.

  4. RUN
good Morning trails 6.17 mi 00:53 08:36 pace

Ran the national access road, pima wash, and parts of the west/east loops. Great weather this morning!

  5. RUN
good Trail loop 6.77 mi 00:53 07:51 pace

Strava calls one of these trails "Granny Classic" so I'll say I ran the Desert Classic to Granny Classic loop.

  9. RUN
good Equestrian loop 6.39 mi 00:48 07:29 pace

I haven't done a regular street run in a couple weeks so I went out for a tour of the equestrian neighborhood.

  10. VELO
blah Mountain bike 6.11 mi 00:39 9.4mph pace

Just wasn't feeling it today. Struggle more than I usually do on the bike and took a small spill in one of the washes. Oh well.

  11. RUN
great Trail loop 6.6 mi 00:58 08:49 pace

Ran from the house with Kendall. Did the national road to Javelina canyon then out a little east towards the golf course to finish the loop. The coyotes were really howling this morning!

  12. RUN
good Morning track 4.32 mi 01:03 14:27 pace

Speedwork at Corona. Workout was 10x100. My legs felt like concrete blocks this morning so I ran them all at a very moderate pace - mostly 16s

  13. RUN
great National climb 10.82 mi 01:52 10:21 pace

It's been a long time since I've logged some respectable miles on a run. Today seemed like a good day to change that. I ran up national to the buena vista parking lot and back.
